Benjamin Slinkard is an educator and drag performer known as Kennedy Ann Scott. Benjamin is a Blue Ribbon Teacher and has been awarded 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year for his service as an educator for Metro Public Schools. He has been recognized by the Nashville community as a top performer and claims residency at the Lipstick Lounge. Kennedy Ann Scott was Voted Best Drag Performer According to Nashville Scene’s Poll. He has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine and the New York Times. Benjamin is from Missouri and resides in Nashville, TN and is an advocate for children and members of the LGBTQIA community and is passionate about helping those in need. Kennedy’s debut book, No Tea, No Shade, releases September 2025. She is one of six contributors that writes about her life as a drag queen in the book published by HarperOne.
